New Mural in Poughkeepsie, NY
Over the past 5 years I would live paint at an event, festival, private show, or art battle 10-30 times per year. This year all events were cancelled (for the most part) so the excitement of painting in front of a live crowd has dwindled down to one fortunate event produced by the good people at Cryptic Gallery for their annual Summer Sessions in Poughkeepsie, NY. All outdoor event, all masks, all properly spaced, yadda yadda yadda all the guidelines met, yadda yadda yadda *smash keyboard with head* dsjkbclasdjcretsb54bsdjkbvio;b43no;klndf;
The usual 8x8' live paint canvas was maximized to a 28' x 50' brick wall split for 2 artists, Lady Pink to the right, and myself to the left. Pictured below is how the wall looked before we went at it:
Painting along with us were 8 other artists painting walls all along the courtyard where the event was held
First move: Buff the wall and sketch
AAaaaaaAaaand we're done!

A before & after shot to help give you an idea of the power of paint and how a couple creatives can transform an entire environment with a little pigment and dedication :)
