Flavors of Austin hosted by Earl Campbell

University of Texas Legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame Member Earl Campbell hosted the Seventh Annual Flavors of Austin in honor of his son Tyler. The event was Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Austin. The exclusive benefit will raise awareness and funds for Pro Player Foundation and the 2018 highlighted beneficiary is The National MS Society.

For the event Miles Starkey and I created two works of art to be auctioned off ..Here are a couple progress shots of our paintings in the works

Both Miles and I had the fortunate opportunity to not only create a work of art that when sold the funds will go to an incredible cause but also meet the man, the legend, behind the paintings, Mr. Earl Campbell himself and he was gracious enough to autograph the paintings we created

The event was full of good food, drinks, good conversation, and for a sports fanatic like myself it was a rare chance to meet football, basketball, and baseball players that I have been watching play their respected profession since I was a child
