I asked myself that and over 60 hours of James Brown, Gang Starr, and Blink-182 later I've come to an answer:
"I was approached with the concept of creating a work of art with music in mind. But every painting or drawing or anything Ive ever made has been influenced by the music Im listening to. Whenever Im working, theres always music playing, whether it be one of the thousands of playlists Ive made or the soundtrack of noises a city creates while I'm working on a mural. Theres always music playing. So in an effort to try something different and torture myself a bit, I asked myself what would happen if you listened to the same 3 songs on repeat, over, and over, and over again, with nothing but a blank canvas in front of me and a pen in my hand to see how the music would effect the paintings end result? This was my answer."
